Biography:
Jeremiah Baker, author of Confessions of a Hacker, spent the last 17 years being hired to hack into clients’ networks and web applications before the bad guys could—helping organizations pinpoint weaknesses in their cybersecurity defenses and fortify them against future attacks. He has worked with major casinos, banks, corporations, hospitals, and software firms around the world.
Through real-world stories, Jeremiah offers an insider’s perspective on how cybercriminals operate and what you can do to protect yourself. Over the years, his work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Wired, Vice, and various television shows.
Jeremiah also serves as an advisory board member of The Global Projects Center at Stanford University’s Engineering School.
