Are you frustrated with not being able to stand out in a sea of virtual coaches and accountants? Our guest Alyssa Dillon shares her story and explains how she uses authenticity to build relationships and differentiate herself. Welcome to episode 191 of the Grow My Accounting Practice Podcast.
My name is Alyssa Dillon. I am the CEO and Financial Consultant of AD Finance Manager. I am a proud mom of two and, though I’ve always wanted to finish my Bachelor’s degree, I am proud to also own the unofficial title of “college dropout”. I have held many positions in leadership during my career in corporate America, including a position as a CFO for a major corporation. As a dreamer, I envisioned for years that I would own my own business. When “the perfect storm” occurred during my last corporate position, I followed my instincts, and quit. What a journey it has been. My success in business has been attributed to my genuine passion for helping people and seeing others succeed around me. I love what I do and cannot imagine a more fulfilling role in life. I have the freedom and flexibility to be the mom I’ve always wanted to be while using my passions and skillset to help entrepreneurs like myself.
